Rules and Regulations
Inspiringly, hereby “Iranian Classification Society”(ICS), having reputation for integrity, impartiality and technical excellence, Presents its Rules and Regulations. These Rules and Regulations determine ICS fundamental instruments for classification and certification principles, while demonstrate the criteria of ICS to play its role and accomplish its mission in order to act effectively with all member of Community in the context of Classification, and Certification, for a safe and sustainable operation, to share, and contribute the future evolution and development of Global market. In other expression this complex framework which is the integration of technical standards and requirements, governs designing, construction and in-service performance throughout the life of the product or service.
These rules have been reproduced by ICS based on the corresponding Korean Register of Shipping (KR) Rules, thus has been granted to ICS all the independent implementation rights and responsibilities thereto, in pursuant of formal bilateral agreement taken place between two societies on 4 Aug 2009 in Tehran / Iran, with official support of Iranian Port and Maritime organization. Therefore ICS would like to announce to all whom it may concern, all classification and certification services and surveys would be carried out based on mentioned rules and regulations from stated date.
