Department (CLD) of ICS.
- What is CLD?
Convention & Legislation Department (CLD) was established in September 2010.
The main objective of this department is promotion of general knowledge of ICS Surveyors
and Customers in Statutory topics. On the basis of technical and professional effort
in this department, the latest amendments on statutory topics, the outcomes of latest
IMO Committees and Sub-Committees Meeting, latest circulars by PMO and IMO, Interpretation
on statutory topics and so on, are issued and published to respectful ICS Customers
and Surveyors. Within the past one year of activities, CLD has grown a wide range
of statutory services to assist surveyors and customers and has reached to several
honors such as awarded from PMO due to active presence at meetings, distributing
several technical documents between ICS Surveyors and Customers. CLD says welcome
to any gentleman and lady who is interested to cooperate with us in this field of
activity.

- IACS Activities
The latest information and also summarized reports on IACS publications are gathered
and introduced to customers within this page. By using the service provided here,

- PSC
Port State control, or PSC, is the exercise of the right of a port State, when granting
permission to a foreign flagged ship to enter a port of the port State, to inspect
the vessel to ensure that it meets international safety, pollution and other requirements.
